Diebold Nixdorf has secured a contract to manage the entire ATM network of Heritage Bank, a customer-owned lender in Australia.

The five-year contract encompasses the maintenance of the ATMs as well as work to boost their operational efficiency.

Diebold Nixdorf will equip the self-service network with DN AllConnect Services-powered solutions and install Windows 10 software in the ATMs.

The scope of work also includes equipping ATMs with anti-skimming card protection, security updates and other remote monitoring services.

Heritage Bank CEO Peter Lock said: “This agreement ensures increased operational efficiency of our ATMs, and allows us to focus on our core business of providing consumers with a great banking experience.

“The relationship with Diebold Nixdorf matters a great deal to us, and we are absolutely thrilled that it will be continuing.”

The lender has total consolidated assets of A$10bn and operates 58 branches. An additional two branches are slated to open in Sydney by the end of this year.
