First Horizon National, the parent of First Tennessee Bank and Capital Bank, has expanded its partnership with Diebold Nixdorf for improvements to its ATM network.

First Horizon and Diebold Nixdorf have been partners for more than three decades.

First Horizon chief operating and risk officer Yousef Valine said: “This continued partnership will help us consolidate management of our self-service network while keeping First Horizon ahead of the curve on the latest banking technology, and, most importantly, keeping our customers’ information safe.”

For gaining the capability to add features to its ATM network, First Horizon will utilise the vendor’s Vynamic Connection Points terminal application software.

Besides, First Horizon will leverage DN AllConnect Services that is said to include “endpoint monitoring, a robust operations center, hard drive encryption, advanced access controls and inventory management”.

At the same time, First Horizon will upgrade its ATMs to the Windows 10 operating system with the vendor’s support.
