Wincor Nixdorf has launched a new visualisation tablet application to provide images of redesigned bank branches.

According to Wincor Nixdorf, the new visualisation app will enable the real picture of a future self-service system site to be projected onto the display of a tablet PC.

The desired self-service model can be selected from another app directly on the display and integrated into the site image so that the viewer has the impression of actually standing in the real branch environment.

The company said that all the different variants will be saved as photos and thus provided to the bank to make its design decisions.

The mixed reality software is developed by MXM AG, and is based on enhancements of standard computer-assisted augmented reality technologies.
