NatWest and Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) have partnered with Post Office, allowing its customers to perform banking operations at any of the Post Office’s 11,500 branches in the UK.

With the addition of Post Office’s branches, the total number of locations where customers can perform banking operations increases to up to 22,500.

Post Office currently looks after nearly 11.5 million transactions and around £50m cash withdrawals for NatWest and RBS customers.

NatWest and RBS UK retail CEO, Les Matheson, said their customers are changing the way they bank with them.

"They want to be able to do their everyday banking in a variety of different ways – where and when it is convenient for them," Matheson added.

Post Office Financial Services director, Nick Kennett, said, "With over 11,500 branches and longer opening hours we are making it easier for customers to conduct banking transactions at the same time as other service in their local Post Office."
