Ethiopia’s Bank of Abyssinia (BoA) has teamed up with Xpert Digital to implement Temenos Infinity to digitise its banking services and accelerate customer growth

Through the digital banking platform, BoA expects to revamp its retail mobile banking and SME digital banking services, which will enable a unified, omnichannel experience.

The lender stated that Temenos Infinity will allow it to offer reliable and easy-to-use mobile banking services while reducing customer acquisition time and increasing digital revenue by leveraging data analytics.

Bank of Abyssinia chief digital officer Sosina Mengesha Rundassa said: “We are one of the leading banks in Ethiopia and are excited to announce that we will be using Temenos Infinity as our platform to kick off our digital journey.

“Xpert Digital seems to perfectly fit the criteria for our innovation and breakthrough in the digital world. In July this year, Pakistani digital bank UBL has selected the Temenos Infinity platform in a bid to improve its online offering and boost customer experience.
