Pakistani digital bank UBL has selected Temenos Infinity platform in a bid to improve its online offering and boost customer experience.

The move comes after the lender partnered with Temenos and National Data Consultant (NdcTech) to scale up its digital banking strategy.

Temenos Infinity is a cloud-native digital banking platform developed on a micro-services architecture.

It enables the financial institutions to accelerate customer acquisition by reducing onboarding time as well as uses data analytics, AI and smart banking capabilities to provide them with actionable customer insights.

Following the implementation, the newly-launched UBL aims to scale up its digital footprint across all segments. It will also enable the lender to offer an all-inclusive online platform that will include customer onboarding, deposit, loan originations, and digital servicing.

Temenos APAC and MEA Jean-Paul Mergeai said: “UBL is leading the way in digital banking, and we are proud to support the bank in the next phase of its digital journey. With Temenos Infinity, UBL can take customer experience to the next level, delivering digital experiences that delight customers and make banking better across every channel.
