Associated Bank, a part of Associated Banc-Corp, has enhanced its digital banking offerings by expanding its mobile banking and payment capabilities and adding a new tablet banking app, Mobiliti: Tablet, developed by Fiserv.

The move by Associated Bank is to meet the customers’ demands to perform more banking activities through their smartphone and tablets.

Under its mobile banking capabilities, Associated Bank has added a new mobile remote deposit capture, Associated SnapDeposit, which allows customers to deposit cheque by taking photos through their smartphone. Popmoney allows customers to initiate and accept person-to-person payments directly from their mobile devices.

Available for iPad, the new Mobiliti: Tablet app from Fiserv allows users to easily access their accounts and perform bill payments, person-to-person payments, mobile deposit, and locate ATMs and branches.

Associated SnapDeposit and Popmoney are also available in the bank’s new tablet app.

Associated Bank retail payments senior vice president and director, Val Glytas, said over the past few years, mobile banking has evolved from a convenient way to access account information to a transactional channel.
