Welcome Real-time (WRT), the France-based
technology vendor, has struck a deal with consultancy firm
Accenture, to boost customer loyalty among France’s top banks.

The joint collaboration will offer tier-one
financial institutions “seamless loyalty solutions” and improved
consulting services from Accenture’s 150 loyalty and customer
relationship management specialists.

A spokeswoman for WRT would not disclose the
banks involved in the agreement.

“Our partnership with Accenture integrates
both companies’ expertise, and will allow us to bring tier-one
financial institutions the necessary consultancy services and local
knowledge they require,” said Sebastien Slim, vice president of
product marketing at WRT.

He added that after an initial launch in
France, the venture is likely to expand to other countries
throughout Europe.

Joël Nadjar, executive partner at Accenture
noted WRT’s past experience with top financial institutions
including the UK’s Barclaycard, making “them an ideal company to
partner with”.
