US-based Vantage Credit Union has completed conversion to Symitar’s Episys core operating system.

Vantage stated that its ability to integrate with multiple vendor applications initially lured the credit union to the product. The conversion was completed after a 13-month implementation, after due diligence started four years ago.

The credit union said that the new platform offered various system improvements such as faster account and loan processing, member-facing account management tools, and improved lending.

The new core platform also offered an automated phone access system, as well as a new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

Vantage project manager Debbie Meyer said: "This product is well designed to improve our overall operations. If we can cut costs and reduce back-office workloads, then we can spend more time focusing on our members and their needs."
