The National Bank (TNB) has reached an agreement with Temenos to deploy its core banking system T24 in Palestine, as part of its plan to transforms operations into a universal bank within a unique demographic.
T24, which will replace TNB’s legacy platform, will enable the lender to provide its depositors, borrowers and investors a consistent, modern and superior financial service, from a unique and technologically-advanced platform.
Temenos said that TNB has been one of the fastest growing bank in Palestine since 2011, and growing business needs require the lender to select a better core banking platform, which could meet its growing business requirements.
The lender also offers banking services through digital channels, such as e-banking and a network of ATMs.
Temenos Middle East head Jean Paul Mergeai said, "The implementation of T24 will facilitate TNB’s operations, allowing it to serve its clients more efficiently, enhance its competitive position, and provide more technological solutions to the Palestinian banking industry."
