From 13 February, more
than 300 of Toronto Dominion’s (TD) Canada-based branches will
offer Sunday opening from 12 noon to 4 p.m.

Kerry Peacock, executive
vice-president, Branch Banking, TD Canada Trust, said:

“We’re proud to be the
only bank in Canada open on Sunday in hundreds of locations. It’s
important to us to offer the most convenience and the best service
to customers.”

TD will offer Sunday
opening in 90 communities across Canada, including 42 in Ontario,
25 in British Columbia and 10 in Quebec.

TD ended 2010 with 1,127
branches in Canada – a net increase of 16 during the year – ahead
of Scotiabank (1,024 outlets) and Bank of Montreal (913
branches).

TD is currently planning
to open an additional 25 branches during 2011.
