Sri Lanka’s Sampath Bank has introduced a ‘Branch-in-a Kiosk’ solution in collaboration with Transaction Systems.

The offering was first installed in a branch in Colombo, the capital city of Sri Lanka.

The solution will enable the bank to offer its customers round the clock banking services at a fraction of branch operating costs.

The Branch-in-a Kiosk solution is capable of performing nearly all branch transactions including ATM and internet banking.

It is based on Transaction Systems’ Remote Teller Station (RTS) solution, which integrates counter services and customised financial consulting services into the self-service terminal.

The solution uses LiveBank platform by Ailleron to enable customers to carry out most of the transactions under the assistance of a remote teller through video interactions.
