State Bank of India (SBI) remains the most trusted banking brand in India according to The Brand Trust Report 2018.

SBI ranks 21st among India’s 1,000 most trusted brands, down from 13 last year but comfortably ahead of ICICI, 38th (47 in 2017).

HDFC has soared up the rankings to place as the third most trusted banking brand in the top 1,000 to 42nd place, up from 195 last year.

Axis Bank (91st) is the only other lender to feature in the top 100.

Top ranking international brands in the top 1,000 include HSBC (116), JPMorgan (154), Citi (160), Amex (167) and Visa (175).

The only other Indian banking brands to feature in the top 250 include Yes Bank (214), Kotak Mahindra (221) and Bank of India (229).
