The Russian Post Bank, a joint venture between VTB and Russia's state-run postal service, has chosen 3,200 self-service cash recycling systems, software and services from Diebold Nixdorf to drive its ATM network expansion.
Diebold said that its self-service systems will support the retail bank’s strategy of end-to-end cash management.
The systems will facilitate a range of cash transactions such as loan grant, settlement and deposits, the vendor said.
The bank aims to provide cash services on over 4,000 Diebold Nixdorf recycling systems by the end of 2018. Installation and associated maintenance services will be delivered by Diebold Nixdorf, in association with Terminal Plus.
Post Bank board member and director of operations Elena Mokhnacheva said: "Diebold Nixdorf's outstanding systems quality and comprehensive services has enabled us to streamline operational efficiencies and achieve network growth in smaller settlements and distant territories in Russia."
