Romania’s Raiffeisen Bank has decided to utilise FICO’s new customer onboarding technology to enhance its digital lending capabilities.

Under the initiative, Raiffeisen has purchased FICO Origination Manager that will help to automate new account processing across all channels of retail banking.

Raiffeisen Romania executive IT director Bogdan Pipernea said: “We see FICO Origination Manager as the best option, both from a technology perspective and because the ability of FICO’s team to understand and meet the bank’s requirements.

“Raiffeisen have worked with FICO for years on a variety of projects, and we view them as a long-term partner.

“With this IT solution, and the knowledge transfer from their advisors, we will progress our digital transformation with a focus on a great user customer experience.”

The usage of FICO Origination Manager will provide advanced analytics, application processing and decision flexibility to the bank enabling it to make accurate decisions, the technology vendor said.
