Georgia-based Online Banking Solutions (OBS) is to introduce a new mobile application, called Messenger Mobile Tablet, at the AFP Annual Conference in Las Vegas on 28 October 2013.

The new mobile application, which will initially run on iOS platforms, will bring the features of OBS Messenger Financial Center to business customers of its Financial Institution clients.

OBS CEO and founder Dan Myers said, "Leveraging our deep experience with cash management, business banking, payments and technology, OBS is focused on providing secure, competitive ebanking and mobile solutions to commercial banks, community banks and credit unions."

The Messenger Financial Center by OBS is an e-banking platform that supports operations such as real-time account and transaction reporting, e-statement delivery, stop payments, positive pay, account transfers and initiation of ACH transactions and wire transfers.

Additionally, the platform also offers secure messaging, file transfer, receiver-based payments model, and fully integrated behavioural analytics services.

OBS chief technology officer Scott Graf said the Messenger Mobile Tablet users will enjoy both mobility and an intuitive experience using the newly designed user interface to obtain information and employ payment services.

"We’re now able to extend our full product set to mobile devices and to offer interoperability among our channels.

"Payments can be initiated using the Mobile Tablet application or a payment initiated over the web can be reviewed and approved using the Mobile Tablet," Graf added.

The iOS version of the Messenger Mobile Tablet app will be commercially available later this year, with an Android version scheduled for early 2014 release.
