Nigeria-based Fidelity Bank has introduced a
new service to comply with the country’s ambitions to transform
Nigeria’s banking standards to comply with international regulatory
criteria.

Fidelity Bank has introduced an online land
fee payment service in corporation with Nigeria’s Abuja Geographic
System (AGIS) that works in real-time.

The executive director, public sector, of
Fidelity Bank, Abdul Rahman Esene, said that the service was part
of the bank’s social responsibility strategy.

Esene said that the new service would boost
the bank’s visility with consumers and improve its revenue
potential.

He added that the e-collection deal would
transform AGIS’s payment system and facilitate payments for
consumers from across Nigeria.
