NBT Bank, a unit of NBT Bancorp, has picked Fiserv’s Architect single-platform to offer customised digital banking services.

Architect is said to offer a consistent experience across various channels, whether online, mobile or tablet devices.

Using the platform, customers can also test digital services in-person.

Architect’s software development kit (SDK) is said to be a crucial reason for the choice of the platform.

The SDK is key to offering personalised services in keeping with the preferences of different customers.

NBT Bank assistant vice president and systems development manager Michael Longo said: “Moving to Architect is a catalyst in our transition from a project management focus to a development focus, because it will empower our team to deliver the best-in-class user experience and functionality our customers have come to expect.”

The bank expects Architect to support employee attraction and retention as well as in-house development.
