NatWest Group has forged a partnership with advanced endpoint protection and remediation solutions provider Malwarebytes.
Under this partnership, the bank is offering premium cybersecurity security solutions to all its consumer and business banking customers globally.

Customers can now install Malwarebytes Premium for free, to secure their online banking experience.
It is available for the Group’s personal customers, who can install it on up to 10 devices, whereas, the business banking customers can install it on up to 30 devices.
They can install Malwarebytes Premium from the online banking portal.

So far, the new offering has recorded more than 100,000 customer downloads.
NatWest aims to boost the awareness of this programme among its entire customer base.
Malwarebytes Premium is available for customers of NatWest, Royal Bank of Scotland, Isle of Man Bank, NatWest International, and Ulster Bank.
NatWest Head of Fraud Prevention Alasdair MacFarlane said: “Keeping our customers safe and secure is of paramount importance to us. We are the only UK bank to offer premium virus protection to our customers for free and are working with Malwarebytes to deliver this.”
Meanwhile, last month, a report said that NatWest will axe at least 500 jobs across its retail banking business to cut costs in the wake of Covid-19-related loan losses.
