Bokaro district administration in Jharkhand, India, has rolled out new micro ATMs to offer banking services in the remote and inaccessible areas.
Using the ATMs, senior citizens, widows and disabled people can easily get their pensions.

The state government has already rolled out these ATMs at 62 points in rural areas since the first week of March 2014.
Bokaro district is also planning to cover 38 more such points, especially those situated in Maoist-hit areas like Jhumra, Upperghat and others by the end of May this year.
Bokaro DC, Uma Shanker Singh, was quoted by the Times of India as saying: "We have taken up the task of installing micro ATMs on a priority basis.
"In the past two months, Rs1.20 crore have been disbursed to the beneficiaries through these ATMs.
