Lincoln Savings Bank (LSB), an Iowa-based employee-owned lender, has joined forces with Cedar Falls-based web design firm Spinutech to launch a new online banking platform, www.MyLSB.com.
Developed based on new technology called Responsive Design, the new site can be viewed by users on computers, tablets and mobile devices.

The new technology allows the bank to manage a single site rather than two or three different sites for different devices.
Erik Skovgard, who will join as president of LSB in 2014, said, "As the technology our customers and visitors use has changed so rapidly in the recent past, it made sense to have a website that is more accommodating."
LSB’s digital marketing specialist, Angela Evans, said they are far beyond the days of creating websites.
"Our clients increasingly expect their local community bank to offer the features and functionality once available only from much larger institutions. Our aim is to develop a user experience that is independent of screen size or device, and do so in a manner that carries with it our unique brand of community banking," Evans added.
