KBC Bank has opened its fourth banking hub in Stillorgan in Dublin, Ireland, as part of its strategy to emerge as a wholesome retail bank in the country.
The latest launch comes after the opening of other retail banking centers in Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Galway in the last one-and-half-year, as reported by Independent.ie.
KBC also announced that it will open five additional retail hubs in the country with the first one being in Swords that opens later this week. It will be followed by Dundrum and Maynooth, with the fifth location yet to be confirmed.
KBC Ireland executive director and retail banking head Dara Deering was quoted by Independent.ie as saying: "Our customers tell us that they like what KBC is bringing to the market; new and attractive retail banking products and services, the latest online and mobile technology, and hubs designed with our customers’ needs in mind.
"KBC is now a genuine alternative for customers looking for competitive products, better choice and leading customer service in Ireland."
In order to boost its presence in Irish market, KBC is offering an array of retail banking products and services, including current account, suite of insurance products, credit card and mortgage tracker mover product.
The lender is also developing its distribution network significantly with an increased number of advisors.
