sector bank by market value after ICICI, has launched two premium
cards targeting Indian women – Solitaire Premium and Solitaire.

all spends on Solitaire and Solitaire Premium credit card to a
non-profit organisation in India, SOS Children’s Villages,
towards the annual education expenses of 60 girl children.

The “premium card segment for women in India
remains largely untapped” according to HDFC Bank.

Country head of retail assets and credit cards
at HDFC Bank, Pralay Mondal, said, “We felt there was a vacuum in
the premium credit card segment for women. We are sure that
Solitaire will fulfill a long-standing need of women who are
pursuing a successful career, travelling the world and are at the
forefront of the global consumption story.
