Fino Payments Banks has picked Seqrite mSuite from Seqrite, the enterprise security solutions brand of Quick Heal Technologies, to enable its workforce to access enterprise data and applications on the move.

The solution also enables the bank’s IT team to manage devices remotely, noted Seqrite.

This is possible through the technology’s ability to aid risk detection through remote scheduling of a security scan.

According to the vendor, Seqrite mSuite offers a centralised view of the devices. This feature is said to have played an integral role in the technology’s selection by the bank.

Seqrite Enterprise Mobility Management product manager Sneha Katkar said: “Through Seqrite’s Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) portfolio, our aim is to enable Indian enterprises to unlock their maximum potential by optimising their IT management capabilities.

“Besides these advantages, Seqrite’s deep threat intelligence and extensive security capabilities also proved to be a decisive factor for Fino’s IT team.”

The vendor said that mSuite enables Fino Payments Bank to detect and control user access to its enterprise network and data and map its workforce’s productivity.

It further said that the technology’s scalable cloud architecture is designed to allow the payment bank to accommodate more users.

Fino Payments Bank deputy vice president (technology) Mathew Chelliah said: “Naturally, we also required an equally excellent centralised solution to securely manage, track, and control access for devices connected to Fino’s network. After a rigorous evaluation of multiple products, Seqrite’s mSuite appeared the best fit for our requirements.

“We are already seeing impressive results since the deployment and are confident that it will help us further optimise operations, bolster productivity, and enhance service delivery while also ensuring that our data, devices, and users remain protected from advanced threats.”

Fino Payments Bank, the payment banking venture of Fino Paytech, started operations in 2017. It launched with 410 branches and over 25,000 touch points across India.
