FIMBank has formed a new alliance to utilise Volante Technologies’ cloud-based payments as a service for processing the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA).

Volante has rolled out the VolPay-as-a-Service offering on Microsoft Azure. The offering will be backed by the company’s VolPay payments products.

The Volante payments service in the cloud can be used by institutions looking to update their payments infrastructure, without a lengthy in-house deployment.

Volante said that the Microsoft cloud facilitates advanced payments capabilities with a scalable and secure service.
