Emprise Bank, a Kansas-based community bank, has chosen fintech provider FIS as its new core banking provider.

FIS said that the community bank selected its core banking platform due to its innovative functionality such as its wider integration and cleaner data management that can create efficiencies between systems.

Emprise Bank earlier operated without EFT and card integration and was looking for a complete solution that would streamline various functions such as account opening, card production to transaction processing.

The new core banking solution also offers faster end-of-day processing and can streamline third-party relationships, the company added.

Emprise Bank EVP Teri Ginther said: "At Emprise Bank, our central focus is providing our customers a better way to bank. One of the ways we can achieve that is by adding value through more efficient processes. FIS’ solutions and support will allow us to streamline vendor management, which will help us be more responsive to our customers’ needs and deliver on the superior experience they expect from us with each interaction."

Emprise Bank operates with 37 branches, located in over 20 communities across Kansas, and manages over $1bn in assets.
