German banking major Deutsche Bank has launched two new transaction banking apps on its Autobahn App Market in India.

The new apps – Cash Manager and Securities Portfolio Manager -will be launched in other countries throughout 2014 and 2015.

The Cash Manager will enable the customer in processing of payments and collections for corporates in India including e-tax payments.

It will also offer the facility to the customer to gain quick visibility into their account balance positions, payment statuses and key reports.

The Securities Portfolio Manager app will act as a single access point to a large variety of reports across custody, securities clearing and fund administration, the bank said.

Michael Spiegel, global head of trade finance & cash management corporates at Deutsche Bank, said: "The Cash Manager app represents another major step forward in the ongoing build-out of the Autobahn App Market.

"With its innovative design and powerful capabilities, the app will revolutionalise the way corporate treasurers access and process their transactions. We look forward to introducing it to our clients in other markets after this launch in India," he added.

The Autobahn App Market is an app-based electronic client offering, providing access to Deutsche Bank’s electronic products, services and intellectual property, including the bank’s transaction banking services, research, commentary, pricing, analytics and execution tools.
