French lender Credit Agricole has inked an agreement to sell its Albanian unit, Credit Agricole Albania, to the local company Tranzit, which is a subsidiary of NCH Capital for an undisclosed sum.

According to the bank, the deal would not have any significant impact on its solvency ratios.

The deal is subject to approval from relevant regulatory authorities and according to applicable legal and social regulations.

Credit Agricole has sold assets in several Central, Eastern and Southern European countries in the past few years, as it redeploys its activities.
