Broadridge Financial Solutions has strengthened its presence in Asia by opening a new office in Singapore.

The technology provider has moved into its new Asia Pacific headquarters, which is located in Singapore’s Central Business District offices.

The new office will host team dedicated to sales, product support, marketing and communications, complemented by local-market specialists working on the ground in five major markets across the region, the company said.

Additionally, the company has appointed Askin Leung as head of the company’s Hong Kong office.

Broadridge said that Leung will also continue in his previous role as regional director of investment management solutions for Asia Pacific. He joined the firm in 2009 to launch the investment management solutions business in the region.

Broadridge head of Asia Pacific David Becker said: “The launch of the new Singapore office is the culmination of years of building our presence across the Asia Pacific region. It enriches our ability to help financial services providers across the region maximise revenue growth by enriching client engagement, enhancing risk management and optimising operations efficiency.

“We are excited about Askin’s expanded role and responsibilities. Askin brings a wealth of insights and on-the-ground experience in Asia markets. He will play an important role in ensuring that Broadridge understands how to serve the rapidly evolving needs of our clients and partners."
