Venture capital firm Lakeside Partners, blockchain firm Blockhaus, and law firm MME have joined forces to establish a blockchain hub Crypto Valley Labs in Switzerland.
The lab’s first location will be in Zug and will be named Genesis Hub. The hub, which that will have room to house over 30 teams, will support the region’s blockchain and crypto startups.

Apart from its founding members including Singular DTV, Bancor, Etherisc and Melonport, many local businesses including Grunder Law, Fineac Treuhand and Brand Leadership Circle have joined the hub.
The lab’s teams will gain access to different services such as marketing, legal and development support.
Lakeside Partners managing partner Mathias Ruch said: “Talented teams may be everywhere in the world, but ideas only really come to life when people get together and feed off each other. It really does take an ecosystem to make something great.”
