BBVA Francés has agreed
deals to sponsor Argentine football clubs Boca Juniors and River
Plate.

In terms of the deals,
the BBVA Francés logo will be placed in the centre of the jersey of
Boca Juniors and from 1 July, the bank’s logo will also appear on
the River Plate jersey.

BBVA customers will
benefit from the sponsorship by being able to make advance
purchases of tickets and jerseys, receive merchandising discounts
and invitations to events, and visit each club’s museum and use
their fields for recreational activities.

Indirect benefits for
BBVA customers include payment plans and discounts on appliances,
clothing and shows.  As part of the agreement with Boca
Juniors, BBVA will provide the club with financial
advice.

Martín Zarich,
Innovation and Development director for BBVA Francés,
said:

“We are proud to add an
Argentine chapter to our soccer history, and especially the
partnership with Boca Junior. To see our brand in the gold stripe
is the best way to begin the year and allows us to continue to
imagine more benefits for our customers and for the club’s
supporters.”
