BBVA Compass Bancshares has opened a new center at Innovation Depot, a business incubation facility in Birmingham, UK.
The bank’s new centre at the 140,000-square-foot Innovation Depot comes weeks after BBVA Compass debuted its newly renovated $13.5m Development Center on 32nd Street South, a workspace inspired by Silicon Valley.

BBVA Compass will work on technology projects for the bank in collaboration with other companies at the business incubator, Birmingham Business Journal reported.
The new cross industry development centre will house up to 10 employees from the bank’s technology and digital units.
BBVA Compass director of mobility and new business technologies Chad Ballard said: "The possibilities are really endless in cross industry collaborations. That’s what we’re hoping for with this center. We want all kinds of thinkers collaborating on ways to improve what we do, ultimately helping us deliver better services and products to our customers."
