Bank BGZ BNP Paribas, the Polish arm of French banking group BNP Paribas, has selected Wolters Kluwer’s OneSumX platform to manage risk.

OneSumX offers an ecosystem of comprehensive solutions and services to manage the intersection of governance, finance, risk and compliance.

Wolters Kluwer said that the bank will use its platform to manage asset and liability management (ALM) and liquidity risk. It will also enable the lender to oversee its funds transfer pricing (FTP) functionality.

The ALM element is based on Wolters Kluwer’s integrated platform that will facilitate balance sheet modeling, stress testing, and dynamic planning at the bank. The technology vendor’s liquidity risk capabilities combine a risk management/stress engine and regulatory reporting platform that will help the bank monitor and manage liquidity risk.

Bank BGZ BNP Paribas managing director Jaros?aw Rot said: "Bank BG? BNP Paribas has a leading position in Polish financial services and so we required leading technology to ensure the very best in modern risk management practices. We have a long standing relationship with Wolters Kluwer and I look forward to working with the firm to implement OneSumX."
