Portuguese bank Banco BNI Europa has agreed to expand its cooperation partnership with Raisin to enable its customers to avail European savings products offered through latter’s marketplace.

Following the collaboration, the bank’s Portuguese customers will receive access to Raisin and its partner banks across Europe through Banco BNI Europa´s website.

The collaboration is expected to provide the customers with expanded deposit choices enabling them to avail the best saving rates across Europe.

BNI Europa executive chairman Pedro Pinto Coelho said: “Starting today, Portuguese savers can diversify their savings by opening and managing term deposits throughout Europe with a chance to gain higher interest; a great alternative to manage their liquidity.

“Without the Raisin platform, willing savers not only have to research the country, the bank and the product by themselves, but also comply with varying account opening procedures in foreign countries.

“This cooperation is a step further on our Challenger Bank strategy of delivering innovative, quick and easy-to-use products to our clients.”
