Arab Tunisian Bank (ATB) has tapped software firm Temenos to drive its digital transformation.
The Tunisian lender will utilise the digital front office solution Temenos Infinity and its core platform Temenos T24 Transact.
The bank will also opt for Temenos Payments Hub, Advanced Analytics and Financial Crime Mitigation (FCM).
The vendor’s packaged model bank functions and cloud technology were said to be key factors in its selection by ATB.
Using Temenos technology, the bank aims to achieve its goal of boosting revenues by 40% next year and doubling the number of deposits through new product offerings.
ATB CEO Mohamed Ferid Ben Tanfous said: “Temenos’ end-to-end digital banking platform will enable us to offer enhanced, personalised digital experiences for our customers and become a global business partner for customers by developing new lines of business – a key priority at ATB.”
Information Technologies Solutions & Services (ITSS) will serve as the bank’s implementation partner in the initiative.
Temenos regional director of French speaking territories Laurent Bramy said: “ATB will leverage Temenos’ global experience and local knowledge in providing scalable, packaged software to lower the cost of deployment and gain business agility.”
Founded in 1982, ATB has over 130 branches. The bank has a workforce of 1,300.
The partnership with ATB increases Temenos’ client base in Tunisia to nine.
