The Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ) has named seasoned investment banker Michelle Jablko as its new CFO.
The appointment of Jablko will see the bank’s acting CFO Graham Hodges revert to his prior role as deputy CEO.
Jablko, who will assume her new role on 18 July 2016, will be responsible for various aspects of finance, treasury, mergers and acquisitions as well as investor relations. She will also join the group executive committee.
She will report to the group CEO Shayne Elliott.
"I am very pleased to have Michelle join the leadership team at ANZ. Her experience at Greenhill and UBS means she is strongly qualified to lead what is a broad strategic, financial and business role at the bank," Elliott said.
Jablko most recently served as managing director and co-head for Australia at independent investment bank Greenhill. She started her career as a lawyer at Arthur Robinson & Hedderwicks and previously also had a stint at UBS Australia.
