Maryland-based Andrews Federal Credit Union (AFCU) has selected Episys, developed by Symitar, as its core processing solution.
The move by AFCU was to support its growth plans and long-term business objectives.

With over $1bn in assets, AFCU will use Episys to create material operational efficiencies for the front and back office, develop new financial products and services and provide member service experience.
AFCU president and CEO, Jim Hayes, said Episys is a proven core platform that improves the very fundamentals of their business.
"We’ve been on Episys for six months and we’ve already seen the benefits of its broad functionality and extensive customisation capabilities. The added efficiencies enable us to provide better member service. We are committed to giving our members the products and services they need to achieve their financial goals," Hayes added.
AFCU chief information officer, David Perkins, said the technology platform will allow them to adapt to the changing financial environment and be responsive to the growing financial needs of their global membership.
