Al Salam Bank-Bahrain has launched its self-service branches that will enable the customers to avail a range of banking services within the least possible time.

The new self service branch known as iBANK allows customers to apply for the desired banking products electronically.

The users can open an account or apply for financing facilities, print their account statements, make card payments in real-time, view account or card transactions and balances, and request for new ATM PIN or cheque book, among other services.

Al Salam Bank-Bahrain first deputy CEO Anwar Murad said: “We are pleased to announce the roll out of the new iBANK services to our valued customers, it is a step forward towards the bank’s overall transformation that will complement the digital banking strategy approach to further boost customer’s experience and in the future we aim to facilitate a 24/7 banking products and services in an easily and accessible environment anywhere and at any time.

“This is in line with our philosophy of keeping the customer’s needs as the focal point of our business by leveraging the use of new technology to efficiently cater to the ever-changing banking requirements of customers.

“With our new iBANK services the traditional banking will be renovated towards providing an integrated and a fully-fledged digital banking services through a range of channels such as branches, ATMs, online banking and website in an attempt to make banking more convenient and closer to them.”
