Dutch lender ABN AMRO has joined forces with Swedish startup Tink to launch a new personal financial management app.
Known as Grip, the new app helps users control spending by collecting, sorting and evaluating consumer spending into definable categories.
In addition, the app has also been designed to offer user-defined budgets and alerts on reaching a maximum spending limit.
The app has been initially released to 10,000 of the bank’s iPhone mobile customers for feedback. It will be rolled out to all customers of the bank based on the success of the pilot.
Tink was set up in 2012 by Daniel Kjellén and Fredrik Hedberg, and claims 300,000 users in the Swedish market.
