Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Visa IT hiring in October 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Visa, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 72.55% in October 2021, and a 486.21% rise over September 2021, while Computer and Information Analysts claimed a share of 12.94% in October 2021, and registered growth of 600%. Computer Support Specialists held a share of 7.11% in October 2021, a 455.56% rise from September 2021.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 6.12%, registering a 30.3% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 3.41% share and a 41.18% rise over September 2021.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 0.43% and a month-on-month increase of 200%.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s banking and payments industry IT hiring activity with a 90.04% share in October 2021, an 859.09% growth over September 2021. Singapore featured next with a 5.69% share, up 53.85% over the previous month. The UK recorded a 1.71% share, an increase of 140% compared with September 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead Visa IT hiring activity in October 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 49.79%, up by 536.36% from September 2021. Mid Level positions with a 37.13% share, a growth of 455.32% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 11.24% share, up 507.69% over September 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 1.85%, recording a month-on-month increase of 333.33%.
