IT jobs claimed a 38.97% share in the company’s total hiring activity in October 2021, and recorded a 0.01% decline over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Fidelity National Information Services IT hiring in October 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Fidelity National Information Services, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 63.21% in October 2021, and a 14.33% drop over September 2021, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 9.76% in October 2021, and registered a decline of 7.69%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 9.76% in October 2021, a 14.29% rise from September 2021.
Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Fidelity National Information Services
Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global banking and payments IT hiring activity in October 2021 with a 59.15% share, which marked a 16.14% drop over the previous month.
North America stood next with 27.03%, registering an 8.9% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with an 11.79% share and a 16% rise over September 2021.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 2.03% and a month-on-month increase of 100%.
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s banking and payments industry IT hiring activity with a 50.2% share in October 2021, a 21.84% decline over September 2021. US featured next with a 26.83% share, down 5.04% over the previous month. The UK recorded a 6.1% share, an increase of 36.36% compared with September 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead Fidelity National Information Services IT hiring activity in October 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 63.21%, down by 13.13% from September 2021. Mid Level positions with a 32.11% share, a decline of 10.23% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 4.27% share, up 40% over September 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.41%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
