The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 22.6% in December 2021 when compared with November 2021. IT jobs claimed a 20.25% share in the company’s total hiring activity in December 2021, and recorded a 0.72% growth over the last three-month average share.

North America stood next with 31.28%, registering a 53.01% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 7.72% share and a 68.92% drop over November 2021. In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 4.01% and a month-on-month decline of 21.18%. Middle East & Africa stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 0.42%, registering a 76.67% drop over the previous month. India commanded a leading presence in the region’s banking and payments industry IT hiring activity with a 48.39% share in December 2021, a 3.58% decline over November 2021. US featured next with a 26.79% share, down 51.41% over the previous month. China recorded a 4.13% share, a decline of 63.3% compared with November 2021.
