TD Bank, in partnership with education technology company EverFi, has launched the TD Bank Learning Centre, an online portal for financial education.
The online portal will offer a variety of digital learning modules to address the financial needs and concerns of adults of all ages.
There are seven 10-minute modules offered, in both English and Spanish, for topics such as credit scores and reports, home ownership, identity protection, insurance, mortgages, and taxes.
“We know our customers tackle different financial challenges throughout their lives, from purchasing a new home or funding the escalating costs of higher education loans to planning for retirement,” said Andrea Johnson, head of financial education at TD Bank. “So we created an educational experience to help them achieve their changing financial goals.”
Speaking to RBI, Johnson said that this has been a move over two years in the making with EverFi’s ‘@ Work’ platform working very well with TD Bank’s strategy for financial education.
According to Johnson, the TD Bank Learning Centre already has over 1,000 registered users and the bank is ‘targeting 50,000 users by the end of 2017’.
