St. James’s Place Wealth Management has teamed up with British challenger lender Metro Bank to launch a direct savings offering for its clients.

The new savings offering will be available online, and will include instant access savings account, fixed terms savings account, cash ISA and the trust account.

Under the arrangement, banking information of clients will be fed directly into their wealth reports. Partners and clients of St. James’s Place will also gain direct access to Metro Bank’s London-based specialist SJP Service Centre.

St. James’s Place joint COO Iain Rayner said: “We see Metro Bank to be an innovative banking Partner and have already developed the Money Management Account and Intergenerational Mortgage. We are excited to now offer a savings range that provides clients with a convenient way to manage their savings.”

Earlier in 2016, St. James’s Place also collaborated with Metro Bank to offer an intergenerational mortgage range that aims to help St. James’s Place clients support their children and grandchildren with purchasing a property.
