Out of the total IT job titles posted by Wells Fargo, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 79.36% in October 2021, and a 23.6% drop over September 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 7.08% in October 2021, and registered a decline of 10.38%. Computer Support Specialists held a share of 6.93% in October 2021, a 6.06% drop from September 2021.

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global banking and payments IT hiring activity in October 2021 with a 52.31% share, which marked a 26.18% drop over the previous month.
North America stood next with 47.62%, registering a 14.34% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 0.07% share and a flat growth over September 2021.
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s banking and payments industry IT hiring activity with a 51.71% share in October 2021, a 24.48% decline over September 2021. US featured next with a 47.62% share, down 14.34% over the previous month. Philippines recorded a 0.52% share, a decline of 76.67% compared with September 2021.
Mid Level jobs lead Wells Fargo IT hiring activity in October 2021
Mid Level jobs held a share of 66.69%, down by 17.81% from September 2021. Junior Level positions with a 29.43% share, a decline of 26.17% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 3.8% share, down 30.14% over September 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.07%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
