Alabama-based Regions Bank has launched a new appointment setting tool that allows users to take an online appointment to speak to a banking personnel either in-person or on phone.

Accessible through Regions website, the new tool allows users to select a specific time, location, branch and banking-related topics such as checking accounts, savings, lending and more, to discuss with the banker.

Alternatively, customers can take an appointment by calling the Regions Green Line or by visiting any Regions Bank branch.

Regions Bank consumer services head Scott Peters said sometimes, there simply is no substitute for talking with someone about financial needs.

"Regions’ new appointment setting feature puts more convenience and access to our bankers in the hands of those who need it – our customers," Peters added.

The lender further plans to expand appointment setting capabilities to Regions Mobile Banking by 2014.
