New Jersey-based OceanFirst Bank has selected ATM software and hardware solutions from NCR to deliver omnichannel banking experience for its customers.

The solutions include online and mobile banking platforms, developed by Digital Insight, which was acquired by NCR in January 2014.

Additionally, OceanFirst Bank will deploy over 20 NCR SelfServ ATMs featuring scalable deposit module (SDM), which allows customers to deposit cash and cheques in bunch. It will also install NCR marketing software such as APTRA Connections and Promote and Exchange.

OceanFirst Bank executive vice president and chief administrative officer, Joseph R Iantosca, said as they examined options for refreshing their ATM network, NCR stood out as an industry leader for deposit technology.

"Partnering with NCR provides OceanFirst Bank an exceptional resource to deliver extraordinary services to our customers while supporting our strategy to grow core deposits by utilizing more cost-effective channels than the traditional branch options.

"Also, having RMC ATM Solutions, an NCR provider, involved gives us the additional advantage of an in-market partner for the relationship," Iantosca added.

NCR Financial Services marketing and strategy vice president, Brian Bailey, said OceanFirst Bank sees the opportunity for banking channels to operate outside of existing silos, and NCR will deliver that type of experience.
