India-based private sector lender Yes Bank has entered into credit card business with the launch of a comprehensive portfolio of seven new cards.

The cards, launched in collaboration with MasterCard, are available in two variants – Yes Prosperity and Yes First.

Yes Prosperity range comprises of five credit cards while the Yes First range features two credit cards suitable for high net worth customers.

Equipped with NFC capabilities for contactless payments, the cards feature a special printing for card information, to avoid the same getting fade away due to regular use.

Cardholders can enjoy rewards programme, with benefits like accelerated reward points, annual bonus rewards based on bank’s extensive alliances and partnerships such as Taj Group, BookMyShow, JetPrivilege.

Additional offers and lifestyle benefits include airport lounge access and golf privileges extended under MasterCard programme.

Yes Bank managing director and CEO Rana Kapoor said: “This is a stratosphere changing product offering in the journey of Yes Bank, as we are providing one of the most comprehensive credit cards portfolio in India, right from the inception.

“We have successfully deepened our Retail banking presence and with the addition of Credit Cards, we will emerge as a one-stop Financial Solutions provider for our customers.

“We believe we have a very strong proposition including lowest Interest and FX Rates, as well as Evergreen Reward Points that will be a game changer in the Credit Card industry.”

The bank will initially launch its credit cards in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Jaipur.
