North Carolina-based Uwharrie Bank has deployed Fiserv technology to advance its digital transformation strategy.
The implementation of DNA core account processing platform will enable the bank to improve operations and streamline integration of solutions utilising open architecture and APIs. The upgrade also involved the addition of card services to its existing Fiserv portfolio.
Uwharrie Bank EVP Operations Division Jackie Jernigan said: “We have completed the implementation of DNA and are taking full advantage of the technology to optimise our operational model and offer the products and services our customers demand.
“To ensure we can continuously evolve and strengthen the customer experience we provide through every touchpoint, we needed a core operating system that is modern, open and flexible.”
Fiserv’s DNA platform is designed to store, manage and connect information to provide a complete overview of customer relationships. It helps the bank staff to better understand customer requirements and customise their services accordingly.
Furthermore, it will enable Uwharrie Bank to share customer data across its business units.
