Australian financial institution Suncorp has extended its banking partnership with Australia Post for another five years.
The partnership will enable Suncorp customers to avail over-the-counter banking services at Australian Post’s 3,500 Bank@Post offices.
Suncorp Banking and Wealth CEO David Carter said: “Bank@Post is an important service, particularly for those living in regional and remote communities, and Suncorp is committed to ensuring the service is sustainable and continues to evolve with customer needs.”
The partnership will enable Suncorp customers to avail banking services even in locations which do not have a bank branch.
The agreement will allow Suncorp customers to make deposits and withdraw funds at any Bank@Post outlet without any charges.
Australia Post Group CEO and managing director Christine Holgate said: “Suncorp’s support for the essential Bank@Post service demonstrates their strong commitment to their customers, ensuring they can continue to access banking services across the nation through their Community Post Office.
